Towers associated with above ground utility and communications facilities and all <br />ancillary structures shall comply with the setback of the zone in which the property <br />is located. <br />Finding: No new tower is proposed. The equipment complies with the setbacks for the <br />underlying zone. <br />The above ground utility or communication facility shall be removed from the site <br />should the use for such purposes be discontinued for 120 days of more. <br />Findincr. T-Mobile will remove the facility if use of the site is discontinued for 120 days or more. <br />Maintenance or replacement of existing utility or communications faclllties, and the <br />installation of nev., utility poles, light poles or standards, swiV:h cabinets, pad <br />mount transormers or other similar utility of communications facilities of a minor <br />nature and small =tale are exempt from this section. <br />Finding: This modification includes the addition of three (3) antennas to an existing utility pole <br />and is within the 20-foot Imit allowed by the EMC. <br />10. To the extent provided by law, the City may require utility or communications <br />service provider to allow up to two additional service providers to be located on <br />shared facilities to discourage the proliferation of tower structures, consistent <br />with technological feasibility. The review authority may allow an additional 20 feet <br />in tower height per additional provider to accommodate collocation. <br />Finding: N/A <br />11. Utility or communication facilities which require towers for which safety lights are <br />required by the FAA shall not be permitted unless the applicant demonstrates that <br />such a facility in the proposed location and at such a height is necessary to <br />adequately serve the needs of the public for the proposed utility or communications <br />service. <br />Finding: There is no lighting required by the FAA. <br />12. The Planning Director may require review by an expert third party. <br />Finding: This project will not require an independent technical analysis of the subject <br />application. <br />DECISION: <br />Tile Planning Director in accordance with Section 41.150C of the Everett Municipal <br />Code has approved a modification of the wireless communications facility at 2117 <br />Lincoln Street in Everett, Washington subject to the following condition: <br />1) The applicant must obtain Building efrom the Everett <br />Building Department. <br />
