This proposal has been developed based on <br /> the information that was provided in your email dated September 15, 2021. The email included a <br /> Geotechnical Engineering Scope of Work(Exhibit A-1)and maps showing the approximate alignments of <br /> two planned water main replacements. We also based this proposal on a review of available topographic <br /> and geologic maps of the site areas, aerial photographs of the site areas, as well as experience with <br /> projects of similar size and scope. Exhibit A-1 also included descriptions of the planned water main <br /> replacements as summarized in the following table: <br /> Road From To Replacement Pipe <br /> Wilmington Avenue Evergreen Way 52nd Street 8-inch Ductile Iron <br /> Hoyt Avenue 41st Street 44a'Street 12-inch Ductile Iron <br /> It is our current understanding that the new water main will include approximately 2,000 lineal feet of 8- <br /> inch diameter, and 1,420 lineal feet of I2-inch diameter ductile iron water pipe. We anticipate that the <br /> water main will be installed with about 36 to 48 inches of cover using standard trench excavation <br /> techniques.
