V. The City Council considered the factors in EMC 15.03.400 in reviewing the proposed comprehensive <br /> plan policy amendments in this ordinance; and <br /> W. The City Council finds that the proposed amendments to the city's development regulations (unified <br /> development code) contained in this ordinance are consistent with the Everett comprehensive plan, <br /> bears a substantial relation to public health, safety and welfare, and promotes the best long-term <br /> interests of the Everett community. <br /> NOW,THEREFORE,THE CITY OF EVERETT DOES ORDAIN THE FOLLOWING ACTIONS: <br /> Section 1. Section 4 of Ordinance 3543-17 (the City of Everett Comprehensive Plan Parks and <br /> Recreation element) is amended as indicated in Exhibit 1, with strikeout text deleted, and underlined <br /> text added. <br /> Section 2.
