List of Reference Documents <br /> Exhibit A <br /> Reservoir 3 Structural Improvements Project <br /> City of Everett <br /> List of Reference Documents <br /> The Design-Builder shall review the Reference Documents to support its efforts during Phase 1, <br /> with additional documents obtained or developed by the Design-Builder. Owner may also update <br /> the Reference Documents list from time to time with new information. <br /> All documents listed below will be provided via the Electronic Reference Library. <br /> Owner provides such Reference Documents to Design-Builder for information only, and subject <br /> to the conditions and qualifications identified in Section 3.2.1 of the General Conditions, except <br /> as expressly indicated below: <br /> • Reference Documents 1, 2, 3, 4, and 6, as numbered in the table below, may solely be <br /> relied on by the Design-Builder for: <br /> — The general arrangement and location of site and project features. <br /> — Record drawings and shop drawings may be relied on for the location and type of <br /> inaccessible infrastructure. For clarity, only infrastructure that would require <br /> excavation, removal or breaking of structures, or removal of major equipment would <br /> be considered inaccessible. Observations that require removal of a hatch, cover, <br /> panel, or small piece of equipment would not be considered inaccessible. Field <br /> locatable underground pipes and utilities would not be considered inaccessible. <br /> • Reference Documents 1, 2, 3, 4, and 6, as numbered in the table below, may not be <br /> relied on by the Design-Builder to the extent they are inconsistent with: <br /> — Information or site conditions that can be visually observed and verified through site <br /> observation. <br /> — Information or site conditions of which Design-Builder should have been or actually <br /> was aware prior to execution of the GMP. <br /> • In the event of inconsistencies between Reference Documents 1, 2, 3, 4, and 6, as <br /> numbered in the table below, the following will govern: <br /> — Between Reference Documents 1, 2, 3, and 4, newer documents shall govern for <br /> reservoir features in event of inconsistencies. <br /> — Reference Document 6 shall govern for liner installation features. <br /> • Reference Documents 1, 2, 3, 4, and 6, as numbered in the table below, may not be <br /> relied on by the Design-Builder for: <br /> — Determining the specific locations of reinforcing bars (i.e., field location of rebar prior <br /> to coring, drilling, or otherwise cutting into concrete is required). <br /> — Determining the locations of any existing underground utilities. <br /> Page 1 of 3 <br />
