List of Reference Documents
Exhibit A
Reservoir 3 Structural Improvements Project
City of Everett
List of Reference Documents
The Design-Builder shall review the Reference Documents to support its efforts during Phase 1,
with additional documents obtained or developed by the Design-Builder. Owner may also update
the Reference Documents list from time to time with new information.
All documents listed below will be provided via the Electronic Reference Library.
Owner provides such Reference Documents to Design-Builder for information only, and subject
to the conditions and qualifications identified in Section 3.2.1 of the General Conditions, except
as expressly indicated below:
• Reference Documents 1, 2, 3, 4, and 6, as numbered in the table below, may solely be
relied on by the Design-Builder for:
— The general arrangement and location of site and project features.
— Record drawings and shop drawings may be relied on for the location and type of
inaccessible infrastructure. For clarity, only infrastructure that would require
excavation, removal or breaking of structures, or removal of major equipment would
be considered inaccessible. Observations that require removal of a hatch, cover,
panel, or small piece of equipment would not be considered inaccessible. Field
locatable underground pipes and utilities would not be considered inaccessible.
• Reference Documents 1, 2, 3, 4, and 6, as numbered in the table below, may not be
relied on by the Design-Builder to the extent they are inconsistent with:
— Information or site conditions that can be visually observed and verified through site
observation.
— Information or site conditions of which Design-Builder should have been or actually
was aware prior to execution of the GMP.
• In the event of inconsistencies between Reference Documents 1, 2, 3, 4, and 6, as
numbered in the table below, the following will govern:
— Between Reference Documents 1, 2, 3, and 4, newer documents shall govern for
reservoir features in event of inconsistencies.
— Reference Document 6 shall govern for liner installation features.
• Reference Documents 1, 2, 3, 4, and 6, as numbered in the table below, may not be
relied on by the Design-Builder for:
— Determining the specific locations of reinforcing bars (i.e., field location of rebar prior
to coring, drilling, or otherwise cutting into concrete is required).
— Determining the locations of any existing underground utilities.
