PARKEAND RECREATION <br /> Exhibit E <br /> Field Rules and Regulations <br /> Phil Johnson Ballfields <br /> City Responsibility: <br /> • <br /> • Parks staff will be available to the Association as determined by Parks staff. <br /> • Open/close restrooms, clean and stock daily. <br /> • Turn lights on/off as required. <br /> • Irrigation of fields and turf practices. <br /> • Daily removal of garbage from cans. <br /> • Maintenance, repair and service of all equipment, facilities and buildings. <br /> Association Responsibilities: <br /> • Maintain First Aid kits and supplies. <br /> • Pick-up ALL litter in dugouts, playing field and stands after games or practice. <br /> • Operate scoreboards (City will train). <br /> • Operate PA system (City will train). <br /> *Working personnel, 18 years of age or older, ONLY in the press box. (No unsupervised children or <br /> spectators.) <br /> • Follow direction of City of Everett Staff <br /> Kasch Park Athletic Office main 425-257-8296 cell 425-754-8340 <br /> Park Ranger 425-754-4835 <br /> • Leagues are responsible for enforcing rules and regulations for all players, spectators, coaches, league <br /> officials, invitees and guests associated with the Association. <br /> • Designate one representative per league to meet with Parks staff to deal with issues as they arise at the <br /> Phil Johnson Ballfields. <br /> • Ensure coaches are trained in CPR and First Aid. <br /> • Report any problems with the facility, spectators, coaches, or league officials to the Kasch Park Athletic <br /> Office immediately so they can be addressed. <br /> • Follow time limit rules established by Park Staff and leagues. <br /> • ***911 calls. If you make a 911 call, start with "I am in the city of Everett at the Phil Johnson <br /> Ballfields 400 W. Sievers-Duecy Blvd. Everett, WA 98203." In case of emergency, you must contact <br /> the city staff person on site, or if not available Cory Rettenmier at 425 754-8340. <br /> Rules and Regulations <br /> • Gum, sunflower seeds or any shelled nuts are not allowed in the ball field complex, on the field, in <br /> dugouts, or bleachers. <br /> • Only water and sport drinks permitted in the dugouts. All other beverages are prohibited. <br /> • Infield practice is not allowed while Maintenance Crew is on the field. <br /> • Pets are not allowed in the complex area. Pets must be leashed (and under owner control) and kept in <br /> the parking lot or near the playground area. <br /> • Metal cleats and spikes are prohibited. <br /> • No fence batting. <br /> • Park only in designated parking areas. Rangers may issue infractions for parking violations. <br /> • Private vehicles are not permitted in the complex area. <br /> • The misuse of City property or failure to abide by the above rules is reason for suspension or denial of <br /> further use of the ballfields. <br /> • Additional park codes & regulations apply to all park facilities.
