IPMC 404.4.4 Prohibited Occupancy,which reads: <br /> Kitchens and nonhabitable spaces shall not be used for sleeping purposes. <br /> 4. IPMC 404.4.5 Other Requirements,which reads: <br /> Bedrooms shall comply with the applicable provisions of this code including, but not limited <br /> to, the light, ventilation, room area, ceiling height and room width requirements of this <br /> chapter; the plumbing facilities and water-heating facilities requirements of Chapter 5; the <br /> heating facilities and electrical receptacle requirements of Chapter 6; and the smoke <br /> detector and emergency escape requirements of Chapter 7. <br /> 5. IPMC 108.1.3 Structure unfit for human occupancy,which reads: <br /> A structure is unfit for human occupancy whenever the code official finds that such structure <br /> is unsafe, unlawful or, because of the degree to which the structure is in disrepair or lacks <br /> maintenance, is insanitary, vermin or rat infested, contains filth and contamination, or lacks <br /> ventilation, illumination, sanitary or heating facilities or other essential equipment required <br /> by this code, or because the location of the structure constitutes a hazard to the occupants of <br /> the structure or to the public. <br /> 2. IPMC 108.1.4 Unlawful Structure,which reads: <br /> An unlawful structure is one found in whole or in part to be occupied by more persons than <br /> permitted under this code, or was erected, altered or occupied contrary to law. <br /> Conclusions of Law Based on Above Findings: <br /> 1. The observed noncompliant conditions, including occupancy of non-habitable spaces, lack <br /> of Code-compliant egress, and improper maintenance of exterior surfaces,renders the <br /> structure unsafe and unfit for human occupancy as defined by IPMC 108.1.3 and IPMC <br /> s �� <br />
