Activities/Project Description
The Subrecipient will be responsible for administering the Minor Home Repair program in a manner
satisfactory to the City and consistent with any standards required as a condition of providing these
funds. Such program will include the following activities eligible under the Community Development
Block Grant Program:
Program Delivery
Activity:
The Minor Home Repair will serve 95 Household by providing necessary health, safety, and
accessibility related repairs to vulnerable adults that they cannot perform or afford, based on the
General Administration.
General Administration
[Description of general administrative services to be performed in support of activities noted above]
Houses and Mobile Homes on private property: A) Services provided by the Home Repair program
may include plumbing repairs, furnance repairs or replacement, roof patching, window replacement,
carpentry, grab bars, door locks, smoke alarms, accessibility modifications and other health and
safety related home repairs. This amount may
be increased with review and approval by the City of Everett after review of the safety needs of the
home. Examples of eligible larger repairs may include but are not limited to: roof coating, tub to
shower conversions, water heater or furnace replacements, ramps, and low-rise steps.
Mobile Homes on leased/rented land: Services provided by the Home Repair program may include
plumbing repairs, furnance repairs or replacement, roof patching, window replacement, carpentry,
grab bars, door locks, smoke alarms, accessibility modifications and other health and safety related
home repairs.
