Exhibit "A" Scope of Services,Time of Performance, Budget, Payment, Notices, and Representatives 1. Scope of Service A. Activities/Project Description The Subrecipient will be responsible for administering the Rental Assistance for Covid Relief program in a manner satisfactory to the City and consistent with any standards required as a condition of providing these funds. Such program will include the following activities eligible under the Community Development Block Grant Program: Program Delivery Activity: The Rental Assistance for Covid Relief will serve 62 Household by providing rental assistance. General Administration [Description of general administrative services to be performed in support of activities noted above] Hand in Hand's method is to build relationships with families living in poverty and affected by the COVID-19 Global Pandemic through on and offsite direct activities, referrals from area schools, social service agencies, and the Department of Children, Youth, and Families. Using a case management approach, we will evaluate the family need, provide direct services & resources, and/or refer to and work with partner agencies for additional support. Hand in Hand will monitor CDBG funds and review quarterly (at a minimum)to ensure all funds are dispersed during the reporting period. Rental assistance requests have increased over the projected amount since application. With this increased award we expect to provide on average $3,050 per household served. B. National Objectives The Subrecipient certifies that the activities carried out with funds provided under this Agreement will meet the following CDBG National Objective, as identified by the City of Everett for priority in the 2020 Program Year, "Benefit low/moderate income persons" -as defined in 24 CFR Part 570.208.
