An inspection of <br /> your premises/property located at 1504 Rucker Ave,was made on April 24, <br /> 2020. The inspection revealed a dilapidated,and damaged shed with worn off <br /> paint,missing and broken boards and overgrown vines attached to it hastening <br /> the decay of the structure in clear view from the alley.This inspection <br /> confirmed the following violations of the Everett Municipal Code(EMC),and <br /> International Property Maintenance Code(IPMC). <br /> The presence of overgrown vegetation on the property is/are violation of EMC <br /> 8.20.020 E,which reads: <br /> EMC 8.20.020 E,Nuisances—Residential property and nonresidential property. <br /> Except as authorized by subsection H of this section or as may be allowed by <br /> another city ordinance,no person owning,leasing,renting,occupying or having <br /> charge or possession of any property in the city,including vacant lots,shall <br /> maintain or allow to be maintained on the property outside of a fully enclosed <br /> structure such as a shed,dwelling,or closeable garage,any of the following <br /> conditions visible from any street,alley,or other public or private property: <br /> E. Dead,decayed,diseased,noxious or hazardous trees or vegetation,or any <br /> vegetation(not including vegetation located in flower beds)taller than forty- <br /> two inches high or grass taller than twelve inches in height; <br /> The dilapidated,damaged and decayed condition of the shed present unsafe <br /> conditions as outlined by IPMC 304.1.1-5,&8,render it an unsafe structure as <br /> defined by IPMC 108.1.1 and is a violation of IPMC 106.1,which reads: <br /> IPMC 304.1.1(5,&8)Unsafe conditions. <br /> The following conditions shall be determined as unsafe and shall be repaired or <br /> 9 5002 Wetmare Ave, replaced to comply withBuilding p <br /> Everett,WA 98201 <br /> p p y the International Code or the International <br /> Existing Building Code as required for existing buildings: <br /> 425.257,8560 *** <br /> 425.257.8569 fax 5.Structural members that have evidence of deterioration or that are not <br /> cadeenfareement@overenwa.gov capable of safely supporting all nominal loads and load effects; <br /> www.everenwa.uov *** <br /> / 01- <br />
