Roofing or roofing components that have defects that admit rain,roof surfaces with inadequate <br /> drainage,or any portion of the roof framing that is not in good repair with signs of deterioration,fatigue <br /> or without proper anchorage and incapable of supporting all nominal loads and resisting all load effects. <br /> *** <br /> IPMC 108.1.1 Unsafe structures. <br /> An unsafe structure is one that is found to be dangerous to the life,health,property or safety of the <br /> public or the occupants of the structure by not providing minimum safeguards to protect or warn <br /> occupants in the event of fire,or because such structure contains unsafe equipment or is so damaged, <br /> decayed,dilapidated,structurally unsafe or of such faulty construction or unstable foundation,that <br /> partial or complete collapse is possible. <br /> IPMC 106.1 Unlawful acts. <br /> It shall be unlawful for a person,firm or corporation to be in conflict with or in violation of any of the <br /> provisions of this code. <br /> The City would like to solicit your cooperation with the correction of this matter by completing the <br /> following: <br /> 1. Cut and properly dispose of all overgrown,dead or noxious vegetation on the property no later <br /> than May 30,2020. <br /> 2. Ensure the structure is vacant and secure immediately and remains that way until it is made <br /> lawful through demolition or the permit process. <br /> 3. Contact the City of Everett Public Works Department to.cated at 3200 Cedar Street and apply for <br /> and obtain all of the necessary and required permits to bring the structure(s)or property into <br /> compliance with the Everett Municipal Code or demolish.
