These <br /> comments address building issues only. Additional revisions or additions may be required by other <br /> departments such as Utilities, Planning or Fire. All references refer to the 2015 International Building <br /> Code (IBC), 2015 International Residential Code (IRC), as amended by the State of Washington <br /> and/or Washington State Energy Code (WSEC) 2015 Edition, as adopted by the City of Everett, <br /> unless stated otherwise. <br /> In order for the processing of your application to continue, it will be necessary to provide <br /> the Building Division with two new complete sets of drawings reflecting the corrections <br /> requested. <br /> Construction documents shall be of sufficient clarity to indicate the location, nature and extent of <br /> the work proposed and show in detail that it will conform to the provisions of the building code <br /> and relevant laws, ordinances, rules and regulations. <br /> Energy Code <br /> 1. Provide minimum R-10 rigid insulation at headers in exterior walls. Show on plans. <br /> 2. Specify minimum R-49 insulation in the framed attic. <br /> 3. Provide heating load calculation to show total heating capacity of 2Kw per dwelling or less. <br /> 4.
