Architectural <br /> 1. Provide minimum 22"x 30"attic access with minimum 30" clear space over access <br /> opening. Show size and location on drawings. <br /> 2. Provide minimum 36 inch landing at all exterior entrance/exits and at the bottom of all <br /> stairs. Show on plans. If concrete landings, stub-out #4 rebar at not more than 18 inches <br /> on center. Show on plans. <br /> 3. All rooms and spaces shall be labeled for the intended use. <br /> 4. Provide smoke alarms per section R314 IRC show location and requirement to be 110 volt <br /> with battery back-up and interconnected on plans. <br /> 5. Provide carbon monoxide alarm per section R315, show location on plan. <br /> 6. Specify location and size of source specific ventilation on plans. <br /> 7. Provide "Whole Ventilation System" per section M1507.3 IRC. Show requirements of whole <br /> house ventilation system chosen, do not simply reference the code section. <br /> 8. The gas water heater cannot be located where the only access is through a bedroom. <br /> Please revise layout or relocate water heater. <br /> 9. Show handrail on the floor plan at stairs. <br /> 10. Specify all mechanical connections at the stairs, including post to beam, post to deck, <br /> stringer to deck and stringer to landing at base of stairs. <br /> 11. Elevation drawings show a belly band and siding of some sort. Please specify belly band <br /> material and flashing, and siding material. Show on elevation drawings and sections. <br /> 12. Provide attic ventilation calculations. Show size and location of all attic ventilation on plans. <br /> 13.
