• <br /> December 15, 2021 <br /> Roll was called with all council members voting yes, except Council Member Vogeli <br /> who was excused. <br /> Motion carried. <br /> Council Member Roberts wished everyone Happy Holidays. He encouraged <br /> citizens to shop locally. <br /> ADMINISTRATION UPDATE <br /> Julie Willie, Community Development Director, provided an update regarding <br /> Council Member Murphy's inquiry about the calls for emergency service at Clare's <br /> Place. <br /> Council Member Bader thanked Julie for providing statistics and requested she <br /> provided statistics in written form. He stated he looks forward to receiving a <br /> • comparison of these statistics to other hotels in Everett. <br /> Council Member Roberts noted the information is only useful if it can be put into <br /> a context that shows the service calls are helping to provide needed services and <br /> not allowing those concerns to be collateral issues for the community. <br /> Council Member Tuohy stated it would be helpful to receive statistics that show <br /> whether any of the calls for emergency service were placed by the neighborhood <br /> regarding residents, or if the calls were made strictly inhouse. She added it would <br /> be helpful to see the history of impacts in the neighborhood. <br /> Council Member Moore spoke about the positive impacts of Clare's Place the <br /> importance in pursuing avenues to get the help it needs. <br /> Council Member Murphy noted the request for information was in response to <br /> Snohomish County's proposed purchase of a hotel to shelter the homeless <br /> population. He also added that seeing the statistics in writing on emergency calls <br /> to Clare's Place would be helpful. He spoke about his visit the Catholic Community <br /> Services facility in Bellingham and suggested a request to Catholic Community <br /> • <br /> 3 <br />
