The match will be provided by already budgeted labor contributions <br />of Emergency Management Staff creating no additional cost to the City. <br />Project summary statement: <br />This grant opportunity has been utilized for 17 years. The Department of Homeland Security <br />Emergency Management Performance Grant (EPMG) funds are allocated to local jurisdictions to <br />support their local emergency management operating budget in an effort to enhance their <br />programs. <br />Recommendation (exact action requested of Council): <br />Authorize the Mayor to sign the Emergency Management Performance Grant Agreement E22- <br />221 to support local emergency management operating budgets at no additional cost to the city. <br />
