I have photos if you want.
(8/7/2019 12:43 PM EPH)
Went to property at 844 Olympic Blvd with Sgt Yeadon. Observed and photographed Stop Work Order on slider door
above newly constructed deck. Two vehicles parked at property with construction tools in them. Wires sticking out of
several areas where lights, outlets, etc. would be. Tape and plastic over windows. Inside what was the carport, there is
construction material, drywall parts, and boards. The back side of the carport has been closed in with walls and drywall,
and it appears that there has been additional construction preparing to turn the carports into a garage.
I knocked on the front door several times, loudly and also called out to anyone. A small window was open a couple of
inches on the second level above the carport area. No one anwered my knock or call. We could clearly hear movement,
voices, and what sounded like work being done on the interior.
Eileen Hinkley
Code Enforcement Officer I Everett Police Department
425.257.8563 13002 Wetmore Ave., Everett,WA 98201 everettwa.gov/Police I Facebook I Twitter
Note: Emails and attachments sent to and from the City of Everett are public records and may be subject to disclosure
pursuant to the Public Records Act.
Original Message
From:Ted de Budden<TBudden@everettwa.gov>
Sent: Wednesday,August 7, 2019 1:30 PM
To: Katie Rathbun <KRathbun@everettwa.gov>
Cc: Eileen Hinkley<EHinkley@everettwa.gov>
Subject: FW: Message from "RNP0026739C3C9E" 844 Olympic Blvd
Katie,
Here are a few photos of the construction activity and the conducted at 844 Olympic Blvd. along with a photo of the
posting and a copy of Section R105 of the current edition of the International Residential Code.
I will follow with a separate email declaration of my observations.
Ted de Budden
Chief Inspector I Permit Services
425.257-72711 3200 Cedar Street, 2nd Floor, Everett,WA 98201
Hours: Monday—Friday 7:30am-12:00pm and 1:00pm-4:00pm everettwa.gov I Facebook I Twitter
Note: Emails and attachments sent to and from the City of Everett are public records and may be subject to disclosure
pursuant to the Public Records Act.
lf2
