The structural drawings are not sufficient for a complete review to be performed at this time. <br /> The drawings consist of a single sheet that is generally a duplicate of architectural Sheet 1-of-3. <br /> The drawings also appear to include unused information that is not pertinent to this project. <br /> Review comments have been provided to assist the engineer-of-record (EOR) in revising the <br /> structural drawings. However, these are intended to provide a preliminary review only. <br /> Additional comments may be provided pending a review of the revised submittal documents. <br /> The construction drawings should be revised to clearly show the intended construction. See <br /> IBC Section 107.2.1. the structural drawings are meant to only show structural details that <br /> reflect the recent changes and are meant to be viewed in parallel with the original drawings <br /> that were submitted and onfile with the building department. Original/ old building drawings <br /> show foundation plan and framing plan that is meant to be used in conjunction with the new <br /> drawings. <br /> 2. The structural drawings do not include structural notes. The drawings should specify design <br /> loads and other information pertinent to the structural design per IBC Section 1603.1. It is <br /> noted that information is provided in the structural calculations, which is not sufficient. The <br /> design criteria should be provided in the construction drawings. Initial review solely asked for <br /> gravity calculations, not a complete set of engineering documents.
