This letter primarily addresses the structural review. The applicant has not completely addressed all comments provided in the most recent review, and therefore the building permit cannot be issued at this time. The building permit review letters issued to the applicant are attached for reference. The following brief chronology outlines the project history as it relates to the structural review: • The property was identified as having work being performed without a permit on 08/06/2019. The property was posted with a Stop Work order (Permit No. W1908-002). • Mr. Michael Snitko (herein"the applicant") consulted with Permit Services on 09/20/2019 regarding the requirements for a building permit application. The project scope was understood include only non-structural work at this time. • The applicant submitted an application for a building permit on 10/03/2019. • The first non-structural review letter was issued on 10/23/2019. The project scope was understood to be non-structural only. • The applicant submitted revised documents on 10/25/2019. • The second non-structural review letter was issued on 11/21/2019. The project was discovered to include structural work that was not shown in the construction drawings; see Comments 1 through 5, 10, and 13. The structural review could not be initiated at that time due to insufficient information in the drawings specifying the proposed structural work. • The applicant submitted revised documents on 12/09/2019 and 12/11/2019. • The first structural review letter was issued on 12/13/2019. The submittal documents (i.e., drawings and structural calculations) did not fully-comply with the building code. • The applicant submitted revised documents on 12/16/2019. • The second structural review letter was issued on 01/07/2020.
