The Contractor shall also coordinate its activities with the City; and no water
mains, individual water services, street, or private driveways may be closed off without a
minimum of five working days' notice to the City and the private property owner and not without
the Engineer's authorization in advance of the Work.
Final grading to subgrade and subgrade preparation in those areas disturbed by the utilities
companies within the work zone as related to construction of this Project shall be the
responsibility of the Contractor and included in the combined sewer construction and no
additional compensation will be paid.
The Contractor shall cooperate with the utility companies and their subcontractors and so
conduct its operations that the necessary construction of their facilities can be accomplished
to the mutual satisfaction of the City of Everett and the utility companies.
*** It is anticipated that the following work adjacent or within the limits of the Project will be
performed by others during the course of the Project and will require coordination for the Work.
For clarity in the below subsection, the Contractor is called the "City Contractor" and the
Project is called the "City Project".
1. The POE contractor for the POE-NT project is below
called the "POE-NT Contractor."
2. The City Contractor shall be responsible for coordinating with the POE-NT Contractor and
for coordinating City Project scheduling and work in a manner that eliminates or minimizes
' conflicts with the POE-NT project. The following also
includes requirements for the City Contractor related to the POE-NT project:
a. Work on the City Project must begin and progress as provided in the City-Port
Agreement. Work on the City Project is limited to the License Area, as defined in
the City-Port Agreement.
