Please review and respond to the comments below. <br /> ARCHITECTURAL <br /> 1. The scope of this project contains new structural additions and alterations as <br /> well as new electrical work to the existing structure. From the drawings,the <br /> scope of the project appears to create additional new habitable space as well as <br /> renovate existing habitable space within the single-family dwelling. The <br /> construction documents provided do not appear to address items that are <br /> required to demonstrate code compliance for creating additional habitable <br /> spaces within the dwelling unit. Items such as, but not limited to, <br /> demonstrating code compliance for means of egress, egress lighting, <br /> mechanical and ventilation systems, local exhaust requirements,smoke alarms, <br /> carbon monoxide detectors, plumbing fixture locations and clearances, ceiling <br /> heights, compliance with the WSEC requirements for alterations and additions <br /> to single family dwelling,etc. Please provide drawings that adequately include <br /> this information on the construction drawings. While permits from sub- <br /> contractors can be applied for to install and address some of these items, <br /> construction drawings are required to demonstrate that the proposed <br /> construction meets the provisions of the IRC. <br /> 2. The site plan provided for this project does not appear to meet the <br /> PERMIT SERVICES requirements for a site plan. For reference, please refer to the Residential <br /> Construction Submittal Checklist and the City of Everett(CoE)Std Dwg: 101 <br /> 9. 3200 Cedar Street (Sheet C1)containing the requirements to prepare a site plan and revise the <br /> Everett,WA 98201 site plan as required. Please provide an acceptable <br /> 425.257.8857 fax <br /> architectural scale(engineer's scale for site plans)to the construction drawings <br /> everetteps@everettwa.gov as is required in the submission requirements.
