a. Summary Section
This project proposes more than 5,000 sf of new and replaced impervious surface, and less than
5,000 sf of new and replaced pollution generating hard surface. This project intends to address
minimum requirements 1-9. The Drainage plan provides details on the stormwater design for this
project.
b. Performance Standards and Goals
This project's bioretention facility calculations provided by WWHM2012 indicates that this
project meets the low impact development performance standard.
c. Low Impact Development Features
This project will feature a bioretention facility designed to meet the low impact development
performance standard.
d. Flow Control System
Flow control will be provided by the proposed bioretention facility. WWHM2012 calculations
have been provided in this report.
e. Water Quality System
NA-The proposed bioretention facility meets the requirements of water quality systems,
however water quality treatment is not required as a part of this project's design.
f Conveyance System Analysis
Dorn Ave appears to have a conveyance system that will be used as the route of overflow for this
project's bioretention facility. This project's overflow route will discharge to the 8"PVC
stormwater pipe located within Dom Ave. The 8"pipe discharges to a 12"pipe,that then
discharges to n 18"pipe that intersects Dorn Ave.the discharge of the 18"pipe flows into a 36"
pipe that outfalls to North Creek. The conveyance system appears to be adequate.
3.1.6 Preparation of Construction Stormwater Pollution Prevention Plan (SWPPP),Vol 1,
Section 3.1.6
A construction stormwater pollution prevention plan has been included in this report with
elements shown on the TESC plan.
3.1.7 Completion of Stormwater Site Plan,Vol. 1, Section 3.1.7
A stormwater site plan has been prepared showing the locations of all proposed drainage
elements.
2.5.2 Minimum Requirement#2: Construction Stormwater Pollution Prevention (SWPP)
The construction stormwater pollution prevention plan has been included in this report. Relevant
elements include temporary construction entrance, silt fence, and straw wattles.
2.5.3 Minimum Requirement#3: Source Control of Pollution
Source control BMP's will be implemented as necessary during the construction and operation
phases of this project. These BMPs include BMP C151: Concrete Handling,BMP C153:
Material Delivery, Storage and Containment,BMP Cl 54: Concrete Washout Area.A spill
response kit must be located on site.
12
