I heard that we couldn't,then saw a document that
said we could with a letter,VC, or HEO. We can certainly open a case a send a notice to comply, giving them ample
time to get the corrections made—6 months—1 yr. If we do end up clouding the title, it may prohibit them from getting
financing needed to correct the issues.
I'll get back to you after hearing from Legal.
Thanks,
Eileen Hinkley
401:—
Code Enforcement Supervisor I Everett Police Department
425.257.8563 I Fax 425.257.8569 13002 Wetmore Ave., Everett,WA 98201
EVERETT ' -,r everettwa.gov/Police I Facebook I Twitter
Note:Emails and attachments sent to and from the City of Everett are public records and may be subject to disclosure pursuant to the Public
Records Act.
From: Drew Martin<dmartin@everettwa.gov>
Sent: Monday, August 17, 2020 10:57 AM
To:Tony Lee<TLee@everettwa.gov>; Eileen Hinkley<EHinkley@everettwa.gov>
Cc:James Bronder<Jrronder@everettwa.gov>
Subject: Re: Modifications made to our house before we bought it
Done.
Eileen - I have the applicant notified that we're discussing the south-side unpermitted additions to the house,
and that we'll advise on any actions required.
