INTERWEST — EVERETT CONTRACTOR'S YARD INTERIM FILL PROJECT Sitts & Hill Engineers, Inc. <br />CONSTRUCTION STORMWATER POLLUTION PREVENTION PLAN Job Number 17,733 <br />Section 4 — Critical Areas <br />The determination of critical areas on and near the project site was accomplished using the City of <br />Everett Critical Areas Maps 1 through 4. These maps indicate that the project site is located within a <br />liquefaction hazard area and the site contains a very high/severe erosion hazard area and a medium <br />slope landslide hazard area. However, Critical Areas Map 3 indicates that very high/severe erosion <br />hazard areas are associated with slopes steeper than 40%. Also, this map is dated 2006. Therefore, it is <br />likely that the erosion hazard and landslides hazard areas indicated are due to the previous land use of <br />the project site in 2006 for material stockpiling. A portion of the project site is located in the 100-year <br />base flood elevation. The proposed project includes filling the site to keep parking areas and potential <br />building areas at least one foot above this elevation.
