Insulation Throughout the Approx. 93 Friable 4%visible damage <br /> material on Ts, house Ts,fittings <br /> fittings,joints, joints and <br /> elbows _ elbows <br /> White thermal insulation material on the boiler(homogenous material#02)was discovered in <br /> the boiler room in the basement. The insulation material was found to contain 65% chrysotile <br /> asbestos. <br /> MATERIAL AREAS AMOUNT ASSESSMENT DAMAGE <br /> Insulation Boiler room in Approx. 70 Friable 1 % <br /> material on the the basement square feet <br /> boiler <br /> Grey window caulking(homogenous material#17)was discovered on the windows of the <br /> carriage house. The caulking was found to contain 3% chrysotile asbestos. <br /> MATERIAL AREAS AMOUNT ASSESSMENT DAMAGE <br /> Gray window Exterior windows 52 linear Non Friable Minimal <br /> caulking of the carriage feet <br /> house <br /> Mudded seams on unpainted gypsum wallboard and tape(homogenous material#06)were <br /> discovered in the basement in the furnace room. The mud on the seams was found to contain 2% <br /> chrysotile asbestos. The gypsum wallboard and tape were found to contain no detectable <br /> asbestos. Composite analysis of gypsum wallboard,mud,and tape showed<1% asbestos. <br /> MATERIAL AREAS AMOUNT ASSESSMENT DAMAGE <br /> Mudded seams Interior and Approx. 35 Friable Minimal <br /> on gypsum exterior walls of square feet <br /> wallboard the boiler room <br /> Black/gray asphaltic roofing sealant(homogenous material#13)was discovered between the <br /> edges of the roofing and siding, and around the roof penetrations, of the house and carriage <br /> house. The sealant was found to contain 5% chrysotile asbestos.A sample was taken on the <br /> house roof only. Carriage house appears to be identical. <br /> MATERIAL AREAS AMOUNT ASSESSMENT DAMAGE <br /> Black asphaltic Roof of house Approx. 230 Non Friable Minimal <br /> roof sealant and carriage linear feet <br /> house <br /> Black/gray asphaltic built-up roofing was discovered on the east side of the house on the 2nd <br /> floor balcony. The roofing could not be accessed but is assumed to be asbestos containing. <br /> MATERIAL AREAS AMOUNT ASSESSMENT DAMAGE <br /> Asphaltic built Balcony on the Approx. 12 Non Friable Minimal <br /> up roofing east side of the square feet <br /> house <br /> Materials sampled by The Knebel Company Inc.,and found to be NON-ASBESTOS <br /> CONTAINING MATERIALS in 2002 <br /> • (Homogenous#01)Plaster over lathe(<1%) <br />
