SECTION 00 73 00 <br /> SUPPLEMENTARY CONDITIONS <br /> The following"Supplementary Conditions" shall supplement the General Conditions and shall become a <br /> part of this contract: <br /> 1. SHOP DRAWINGS <br /> A. The Contractor is required to review and approve all shop drawings prior to submitting them to <br /> ' the Owner for review. All shop drawings submitted to the Owner for review shall bear the <br /> Contractor's stamped approval. <br /> B. The Contractor shall provide the number of copies required for use by the contractor plus three <br /> additional copies to be retained by the Owner and the Architect/Engineer for all items of work <br /> as requested by Owner or as required by the contract documents.The Owner or the <br /> ' Architect/Engineer shall review and return all shop drawings to the Contractor within two <br /> weeks of receipt.The review of the shop drawings by the Owner and/or Architect/Engineer is <br /> for the limited purpose of checking for conformance with the design concept as expressed in <br /> the Contract Documents.The review of shop drawings by the Owner and/or Architect/Engineer <br /> is not conducted for the purpose of determining the accuracy and completeness of other details <br /> such as dimensions, quantities, installation instructions, or equipment performance, all of which <br /> remain the responsibility of the Contractor.Approval of the drawings by the Owner or <br /> ' Architect/Engineer shall not release the Contractor from responsibility for deviations from the <br /> contract documents.The approval of any shop drawing that substantially deviates from the <br /> requirements of the contract documents shall be evidenced by change order. <br /> 2. CONTRACTOR'S REPRESENTATIVE AT PROJECT SITE <br /> ' The Contractor shall at all times have a competent superintendent or foreman who shall be acceptable <br /> to the Owner and be capable of reading and thoroughly understanding the plans and specifications as <br /> his agent on the work,who shall have authority to receive instructions from the Owner or his <br /> ' authorized representatives.The superintendent or foreman shall have full authority to execute the <br /> orders or directions of the Owner without delay and to supply promptly such materials,tools, plans, <br /> equipment,and labor as may be required regardless of whether or not the work is to be performed by <br /> ' the Contractor's own forces or those of a subcontractor.The fact that an approved subcontractor is <br /> performing any portion of work shall not relieve the Contractor of this requirement. <br /> 3. AS-BUILT DRAWINGS <br /> All approved changes, modifications or deviations in location and installation of work shown on the <br /> plans shall be so indicated with precision by the Contractor on one master copy of the plans. Accurate <br /> measurements and exact location of changes in dimension(s)and material(s)shall be included.This <br /> shall include all changes in plant materials,fences, utilities, walks and roads,specific structures, grades, <br /> ' etc. Contractor's master copy of"as built" modifications shall be turned over to the Owner prior to final <br /> acceptance of the project. <br /> i <br /> ' Rotary Park Renovation 1 of 2 <br />
