Section 00 21 13 INSTRUCTIONS TO BIDDERS 1.1 General Description and Location of Project The Work to be performed will include furnishing all labor, materials and equipment necessary to perform all Work as required by the Contract in accordance with the Contract Documents. The Project Site is located at 3505 Lowell Snohomish River Rd, Everett Washington. 1.15 Mandatory Pre-Bid Meeting The Bidder must attend one of two mandatory pre-bid meetings in accordance with Section 002513. Failure to attend and sign the sign-in sheet will result in bid rejection. 1.2 Project Manager Questions and inquiries about the Contract Documents shall be directed to the attention of the City of Everett Project Manager. 1.3 Standard Specifications The following other Specifications and Standard Plans shall apply to the extent to which they are called out in the Contract Documents. 1. American Society of Testing Materials (ASTM), latest edition 1.4 Examination of Site Conditions,Contract Documents and Regulations Bidders shall inspect the Site of the Work and carefully review the Contract Documents to satisfy themselves, by personal examination, physical testing,or by such other means as they may prefer,of the location of the proposed Work, the actual physical conditions of and at the Site, surface and subsurface conditions,and conditions ordinarily to be encountered and generally recognized as inherent in the Work. If, during the course or as a result of such inspection, examination and testing, a Bidder finds facts or conditions that appear to conflict or are omitted from the Contract Documents, or with other data or material made available relating to the Work, Bidder shall so notify the City in writing, and may apply to the City for additional information and explanation before submitting their Bid.
