City of Everett 01 1100 - 1 <br /> 2022 Tulalip Water Pipeline Mortar Repair UT 3774 <br /> SECTION 01 1100 - SUMMARY OF WORK <br /> 1.1 SCOPE OF WORK <br /> ' A. The Work specified for this contract consists of furnishing all labor, materials, <br /> tools and equipment necessary for the removal and replacement of field-applied <br /> ' joint mortar on approximately 157 pipe joints in approximately 6200 feet of 48" <br /> diameter steel pipe with welded lap joints. Included in the work, as needed, is the <br /> cleaning, inspection and repair of the lateral and circumferential cracking in the <br /> ' factory-applied cement mortar lining. The work generally includes, but shall not <br /> be limited to the following: <br /> 1. Traffic control in the areas where the contractor will access the below- <br /> ' ground pipeline. <br /> 2. Dewatering of pipeline segments for mortar repair. <br /> 3. Removing and replacing field-applied mortar. <br /> 4. Cleaning construction debris from pipeline, then flushing and disinfecting <br /> pipeline after construction. <br /> 5. Physical inspection of lateral and circumferential cracking, and repair as <br /> needed. <br /> ' 1 .2 SUBMITTALS <br /> A. Prior to mobilization the following submittals shall be submitted to the City for <br /> ' review and approval. <br /> 1. Work Schedule <br /> 2. Cement mortar product specifications <br /> ' 3. Traffic Control Plans <br /> 4. Dewatering Plan <br /> 5. Flushing Plan <br /> ' 6. Contractor's Spill Prevention Plan see Section 01 5000 <br /> 7. Health and Safety Plan (specific to this project), see Section 01 3529 <br /> 1.3 CONTRACTOR'S USE OF SITE AND PREMISES <br /> A. The Contractor shall assume full responsibility for protection and safekeeping of <br /> products under this Contract. <br /> B. The Contractor shall obtain and pay for use of any additional parking, storage or <br /> work areas needed for his/her operations. <br /> C. The Contractor shall limit the construction activities to areas approved by the City. <br /> D. Construction Plan: Before the start of construction, provide a construction plan <br /> regarding access to Work, use of Site, proposed laydown areas and utility <br /> ' 01 1100 - 1 SUMMARY OF WORK <br />
