FY
EXHIBIT A
SCOPE OF SERVICES
The City of Everett, Washington (City) is currently in the process of converting the Kimberly-
Clark treatment facilities into the Port Gardner Storage Facility (PGSF) in order to control the
remaining active combined sewer overflow (CSO) sites along the City's waterfront.
Under Task 800.2, HDR completed the Port of Everett Combined Sewer Main Improvements
design which included the design of a 42-inch combined sewer gravity main and parallel 12-inch
force main (approximately 2,350 LF each) prior to the commencement of the future Port of
Everett Maritime Industrial Expansion — Norton Terminal project. This pipeline (defined as
Conveyance Option C018 in the PGSF Conveyance Alternative Technical Memorandum dated
April 14, 2021) will allow combined sewer flows to be pumped either directly from Lift Station 2
(LS2) or from Lift Station 3 (LS3) to the future PGSF. This project will also be used in reverse to
provide operational resiliency by pumping from the future Lift Station X located adjacent to the
PGSF back to LS3.
The intent of this scope of services is to provide an amendment to account for design
modifications as a result of the Port of Everett license agreement negotiations and perform
construction phase services for the Port of Everett Combined Sewer Main Improvements
project.
co of ice
Task 800.2 — Additional Services — Port of Everett Pipeline
Objective
Additional design modifications required to address Port of Everett license agreement
negotiations.
Consultant Services
1.
