Task 1000 — Construction Phase Support Services <br /> Objective <br /> Provide engineering support services during the construction phase. <br /> HDR Services <br /> 1. Attend the pre-construction meeting <br /> 2. Attend construction progress meetings. <br /> 3. Review construction submittals, RFI's, and other construction documentation requested by <br /> the City. Provide written comments to assess the general conformance with the Contract <br /> Documents including providing technical interpretation of contract drawings and <br /> specifications. <br /> 4. Review Contractor submitted changed order requests and provide written feedback to the <br /> City. <br /> 5. Attend site punch list walk. <br /> 6. Coordination and preparation of Record Drawings based on contractor red-line drawings <br /> and information provided by construction and observation staff. <br /> Client Responsibilities <br /> 1. Coordinate and conduct pre-construction and construction progress meetings including <br /> preparing agenda. <br /> 2. Provide City construction and observation staff. <br /> 3. Conduct site punch list walk. <br /> 4. Coordinate and track all project communications. <br /> 5. Provide PDF electronic copies of all submittals, RFI's, change orders, and other construction <br /> documentation to the Engineer. Engineer will provide comments on a transmittal form when <br /> returned to the City. <br /> 6. Provide cultural and environmental monitoring to meet the implementation of the Port of <br /> Everett's Soil and Groundwater Management Plan. <br /> Assumptions <br /> 1. Pre-Construction Meeting will occur at City conference room facility and assumed to be two <br /> (2) hours in length with one (1) HDR staff member attending utilizing teleconferencing while <br /> one (1) HDR staff member will attend in person accounting for two (2) additional hours of <br /> travel time. <br /> 2. Weekly Construction Progress Meeting will occur at the project site and assumed to be one <br /> (1) hour in length. It is assumed that these meetings will only be attended by HDR staff for a <br /> four-month duration totaling up to sixteen (16) meetings based on the following <br /> assumptions: <br /> a) Up to eight (8) meetings will be attended by one (1) HDR staff member attending <br /> utilizing teleconferencing while one (1) HDR staff member will attend in person <br /> accounting for three (3) additional hours for site observation and travel time. <br /> City of Everett—PGSF Amendment No. 2 2 Scope of Services <br />
