CITY OF EVERETT EXHIBIT A—SCOPE OF WORK <br /> PROJECT OVERVIEW <br /> With close consultation and direction from the Mayor,Deputy Mayor,Special Projects Manager and Executive,Communications and Community Development <br /> Directors the consultant will gather and evaluate community input to guide and inform strategic priorities and engagement opportunities for the Mayor's <br /> Office.This will be accomplished by designing and conducting a comprehensive outreach plan,engaging a broad and diverse base of Everett residents, <br /> organizations,and businesses. Outreach is intended to seek opinions and perceptions specific to meeting community members expectations and identifying <br /> community priorities.This outreach will ultimately culminate in a formal written report,synthesizing key findings and providing recommendations to the <br /> Mayor. <br /> All materials created as a result of this project must be approved by city Administration prior to implementation or distribution. <br /> Task Task Completion Compensation <br /> # Description Deliverable Deadline* Due <br /> 1 Project Planning <br /> 1.1 Written project plan,outlining goals,objectives and outcomes,strategies and tactics for <br /> achieving them,a list of target audiences,and timeline.The plan should include,but is not <br /> limited to,the following: <br /> 1.1.1 List of organizations,businesses,groups and individuals to reach. <br /> 1.1.2 Description of the outreach strategies to be deployed to achieve project <br /> goals,ideally consisting of a variety of modes and methods to ensure <br /> equitable opportunities to participate.These strategies could include,but are <br /> not limited to,tabling events at a library or community gathering place, <br /> virtual open houses,focus group conversations or town hall type meetings. <br /> When the provision of an interpreter is determined beneficial to the project <br /> the city will be responsible to secure,schedule and pay for interpreter <br /> services. <br /> 1.1.3 Preliminary meetings and outreach events schedule including proposed <br /> locations throughout the City,including hybrid or virtual alternatives. <br /> 1.2 Written status summary, meetings and verbal status reports as requested with Administration. <br /> City Admin approval of plan (see 1.1)is required prior to initiating work on tasks 2,3 or 4. <br /> Compensation After Completion of Task#1 1/31/22** $5000 <br /> *Deadline may be modified by mutual agreement <br /> **Consultant may invoice the city of Everett after the completion of each task for the compensation amount due by task on or before date <br /> Page 1 of 2 <br />
