3. Easement Marking-Fire apparatus access roads on easements shall be marked whenever necessary <br /> to maintain the unobstructed minimum required width of roadways. Marking shall also include the <br /> addition of metal signs stating 'NO PARKING — FIRE LANE — TOW AWAY ZONE EMC <br /> 46.28.130'to be installed at intervals or locations designated by the Fire Code Official. The signs <br /> shall be approximately 12 inches in width and 18 inches in height and have red letters on a white <br /> background. Metal signs shall be installed on 2-inch metal pipes for private or public property and <br /> shall be located so that the bottom of the sign is a minimum of 7 feet above the curb. Where fire <br /> lanes are adjacent to buildings or structures and when approved or directed by the Fire Code <br /> Official, the signs may be placed on the face of the building or structure. <br /> 4. Premise Identification Easements -The correct address of each residence served by the easement <br /> access road must be posted upon a peunanent sign at the street entry to the easement access. In <br /> addition,the correct address must be posted upon or near each residence in such a manner as to be <br /> clearly visible and legible from the easement access road. <br /> 5. Fire Hydrants - The Everett Municipal Code and the 2015 International Fire Code, Appendix C, <br /> table C 102.1,requires that fire hydrants be provided within a maximum distance and of sufficient <br /> number and spacing to all new construction. The distance and number of hydrants varies based on <br /> type of construction and occupancy of the structure. <br /> A hydrant will be added to cul-de-sac near lot 7. <br /> 6. Fire flow for this project is 1,000 GPM. <br /> Note: If hydrant flow information shows less than 20.psi residual pressure at hydrants at time of <br /> construction of lots then future homes shall have "13D" sprinkler systems, regardless of water flow <br /> volume. <br /> Preliminary Approval <br /> Project No.SSI 8-001 <br />
