Show a detail or pavement section on the plans
for the driveways to show compliance with this requirement.
viii. Please see supplemental drawing for redlines on sheet 4. This is a repeat comment
that was not previously addressed and has been further redlined to provide design
guidance to resolve the curb ramp/intersection issue.
• Show the wings/ramps of each driveway, on either side of the driveway
and/or curb ramp.
• Flip east driveway to eastern side of the property to allow room for aligned
curb ramp crossing.
• Redo tree spacing to avoid placing trees within 7' of water meters and on
top of revised driveway locations.
• Ramps on north side of 35th St shall be wide ramps with standard truncated
domes for the entire depressed section. Align edge of ramp with redlined
ramp locations on south side of 35th St.
• Ramps on south side of 35th St shall be adjacent to the driveway depression
with standard truncated domes, then ramp back up to sidewalk height after
the ramp. This is the only way to fit both driveways and crossings in on
this frontage.
Page 2o2
