EXHIBIT A <br /> SCOPE OF WORK <br /> City of Everett Port Gardner Storage Facility <br /> Port Gardner Storage Facility Demolition and Design <br /> Project Understanding <br /> The City of Everett (City) has acquired the former Kimberly Clark Wastewater Treatment Plant <br /> (KCWWTP) and has prepared a Facility Plan outlining redevelopment of the site into the Port Gardner <br /> Storage Facility(PGSF).The PGSF will improve Puget Sound water quality by reducing combined sewer <br /> overflows (CSO) and providing regional stormwater treatment.The project includes all facility and site <br /> elements required to bring the City's combined sewer overflows into compliance by 2027 and achieve <br /> long-term management of City stormwater. Brown and Caldwell's(BC)team (Consultant)will continue <br /> to support the City through demolition and site designs for the project with the Engineering Services <br /> described herein. <br /> This scope of work encompasses additional data collection to that previously obtained for the PGSF, <br /> alternatives analyses for various facilities and processes at the site,selective demolition design up to <br /> and including bid document preparation and bidding period support, site design up to a preliminary <br /> design stage (approximately 30% level of design), meetings and workshops related to these portions <br /> of the work, and other deliverables to be provided to the City of Everett specified herein. <br /> Scope of Work Summary and Work Breakdown Structure <br /> The scope of work for the Project herein includes 18 primary phases identified in the following table. <br /> Project Control, Demolition,and Site Design Tasks <br /> Phase 110 Project Management <br /> Phase 120 Quality Assurance and Quality Control (QAQC) <br /> Phase 130 CSO Control Advisory Panel <br /> Phase 200 Demolition Package- Design Management <br /> Phase 210 Data Collection <br /> Phase 220 Demolition Package-Alternatives Analysis <br /> Phase 230 Demolition Package- Basis of Design <br /> Phase 240 Demolition Package- Final Design <br /> Phase 250 Demolition Package- Bid Documents and <br /> Procurement <br /> Phase 260 Demolition Package - Cost Estimating <br /> Phase 300 Site Design-Design Management <br /> Phase 310 Site Design -Alternatives Analysis <br /> Phase 319 Stormwater Treatment Concept Design <br /> 1 <br />
