A brief semi -
qualitative analysis of these factors will allow for screening of priority areas
for fish passage inventory. ESA staff will discuss preliminary results of pre-
screening analysis and recommendations with the City. Once the City decides
upon the key areas to collect field data on in 2022, ESA will prepare a list of
the culverts in those areas.
Deliverables:
• Draft list of priority areas
• Final Spreadsheet with priority areas (including complete list of
culverts within each area) for field survey work.
2
Field Data Collection Support and Training— ESA will work with the City on
$20,000
several aspects of field data collection and data management. The task will
include the activities described below to the extent possible in the task
budget The emphasis will be on ensuring the City's field crew have the
direction they need to collect fish passage information at crossings
throughout their field season. Task activities include:
• develop Standard Operating Procedures for field data collection
efforts for the Fish Passage program. This includes developing a
common understanding of the parameters to collect based on ESA
recommendations in 2021
• further development, testing and deployment of the ESRI Field Maps
digital forms
• preparation of a two -page user guide for field staff to collect and
manage program survey data from the field efficiently and
effectively.
