ATTACHMENT B SCOPE OF SERVICES <br /> Surveying Services for <br /> Portal 4 Improvements <br /> December 16, 2021 <br /> 1. Project Description <br /> The City of Everett (City) operates a water filtration plant(WFP) located at the south end of Lake <br /> Chaplain approximately 16 miles east of the City.The WFP infrastructure includes Portal 4, a flow <br /> splitting structure that conveys finished water to three transmission lines connected to City reservoirs. <br /> The City has contracted Brown and Caldwell (BC)to provide engineering services for improvements to <br /> Portal 4. This work includes rehabilitation and upgrades to the existing Portal 4 building and installation <br /> of isolation valves on transmission lines 2, 3, and 4. <br /> This scope of work is for subconsultant services for preparation of a survey base map and associated <br /> electronic records suitable for design of the Portal 4 improvements and associated site modifications. <br /> The survey limits are generally bound to the perimeter of the Portal 4 structure and at the bottom of the <br /> slope west of Portal 4. <br /> 2. Limits of Work <br /> The Limits of Work to be surveyed in this project are at the Portal 4 site, as presented in Exhibit A, <br /> located approximately 3 miles northwest of the WFP. <br /> Access to Portal 4 is controlled by the City of Everett and shall be the responsibility of the City and <br /> Survey Consultant. The Survey Consult shall be responsible for all access permits, insurance and <br /> escorts required to complete the work and included in the proposal fee. <br /> 3. Project Schedule <br /> The Scope of Services described herein shall be completed based on the following schedule:. <br /> • Field work will start three (3) weeks after F&A receives NTP. <br /> • A draft digital deliverable will be provided four (4) weeks after field work has been completed. <br /> • The final deliverable will be delivered two (2) weeks after comments are received from client on <br /> the initial draft deliverable <br /> 4. Scope of Services <br /> Brown and Caldwell requests the Survey Consultant provide the following professional survey services <br /> associated with this project.
