ATTACHMENT B SCOPE OF SERVICES Surveying Services for Portal 4 Improvements December 16, 2021 1. Project Description The City of Everett (City) operates a water filtration plant(WFP) located at the south end of Lake Chaplain approximately 16 miles east of the City.The WFP infrastructure includes Portal 4, a flow splitting structure that conveys finished water to three transmission lines connected to City reservoirs. The City has contracted Brown and Caldwell (BC)to provide engineering services for improvements to Portal 4. This work includes rehabilitation and upgrades to the existing Portal 4 building and installation of isolation valves on transmission lines 2, 3, and 4. This scope of work is for subconsultant services for preparation of a survey base map and associated electronic records suitable for design of the Portal 4 improvements and associated site modifications. The survey limits are generally bound to the perimeter of the Portal 4 structure and at the bottom of the slope west of Portal 4. 2. Limits of Work The Limits of Work to be surveyed in this project are at the Portal 4 site, as presented in Exhibit A, located approximately 3 miles northwest of the WFP. Access to Portal 4 is controlled by the City of Everett and shall be the responsibility of the City and Survey Consultant. The Survey Consult shall be responsible for all access permits, insurance and escorts required to complete the work and included in the proposal fee. 3. Project Schedule The Scope of Services described herein shall be completed based on the following schedule:. • Field work will start three (3) weeks after F&A receives NTP. • A draft digital deliverable will be provided four (4) weeks after field work has been completed. • The final deliverable will be delivered two (2) weeks after comments are received from client on the initial draft deliverable 4.
