Here is the process that I believe is the most straight -forward:
In lieu of any additional permit applications or plans, I have taken the existing plans and modified them to show the new
area to be used. The next step is for a walk-through inspection by me and a fire marshal. At that time I will bring out a
copy of the modified plans for your records. Upon approval of the space, I will then issue two new TCO's — one for the
original space (with the new end date) and one for the new, additional space (I will also bring the new TCO's with me). I
believe this is the best approach as the spaces will have different use end -dates.
That will wrap this all up pretty nicely — no new permit applications, plans or any fees required as this is a modification of
the existing permit.
The fire marshal and I were hoping to be able to inspect next Wednesday the 23rd at 1:30 — will that time work for you?
Thank you, Tony
CELEBRATING Tony Lee
(04L 125 Building Official I Permit Services
Y E A R S 425.257.8812 13200 Cedar Street, 2nd Floor, Everett, WA 98201
A story worth telling everettwa.gov/permits I Facebook I Twitter
Note: Emails and attachments sent to and from the City of Everett are public records and may be subject to disclosure pursuant to the Public
Records Act.
From: Tony Lee
Sent: Tuesday, January 15, 2019 2:47 PM
To: 'Heidi Ray' <heidi@funko.com>;'Jackson, Brent' <Brent.Jackson@am.jll.com>
Subject: Seaway building & Funko
Hello Heidi and Brent —
I have received similar requests from you both regarding the extension and expansion of the TCO for FUNKO. As I
understand it, the expansion will include the entire building and the extension would be until mid -September. The
agreement needs to be in place by the first of February (ASAP is best). I believe that this can be accomplished without
much more effort than has already been done. I am out of the office tomorrow but should be able to look over the
submitted information on Thursday to see what additional information we may need to accommodate this request
along with any further inspection requirements.
I am sure we can get this done very quickly.
Thank you,
