I wanted to update you on this project,the drainage installation was completed and inspected by the City of Everett Public works back in November of 2020.We didn't need to cross the railroad to install this work because we accessed this from the Andersons property.This drainage discharge point isn't much different than what was there before we added the addition to the Anderson's residence,just a more robust discharge point to help protect erosion.All of the homes on the west side of Grand Ave have some sort of storm water discharging down the hill side adjacent to the BNSF railroad. Do we still need to apply for access for something that has already been completed? Also, I don't know how I would be able to get insurance for work that has already been completed. Regarding the insurance questions,because this is a long term license agreement we require that you as home owner provide the insurance. If you can provide me with a declarations page from your current home owners policy and auto policy I will review, I may be able to accept as it is currently written. You should however,request that your contractor be properly insured but we do not track insurance for the contractor.The contractor can provide the railroad protective policy as this policy is for BNSF and we are the only named insured on the policy. An alternative would be participation in our blanket program for this coverage.
