Wildlife Habitat <br /> During each monitoring visit,the presence of any wildlife using the site should be noted. <br /> PROJECT MONITORING PROGRAM <br /> Requirements for monitoring project: <br /> 1. Initial compliance report <br /> 2. Annual site inspection (in the fall)for five years <br /> 3. Annual reports(One report submitted in the fall of each monitored year) <br /> Purpose of Monitoring: <br /> The purpose of monitoring this mitigation project is to evaluate the success of the mitigation <br /> plantings. Success will be determined if monitoring shows that at the end of five years the <br /> stated performance standards are being met. The property owner shall grant access to the site <br /> for inspection and maintenance to the contracted wetland specialist and to the City of Everett <br /> during the period of the bond or until the project is evaluated as successful. <br /> Inspection Schedule: <br /> Upon completion of the mitigation project, an inspection by a qualified wetland professional <br /> will be made to determine plan compliance. An initial compliance report will be supplied to the <br /> City of Everett within 30 days after the completion of planting. Condition monitoring of the <br /> plantings will be done by a qualified wetland professional in the fall annually for the five-year <br /> monitoring period, or until all performance standards are met and approved by the City of <br /> Everett. A written report describing the monitoring results will be submitted to City of Everett <br /> shortly after the inspection of each monitored year. Final inspection will occur five years after <br /> completion of planting.The contracted wetland professional will prepare a final report as to the <br /> success of the project. <br /> During the site visit for the compliance letter, photo points shall be established in the buffer <br /> enhancement area. Pictures should show a general overview of the mitigation area. These <br /> photo points shall be recorded and used during each monitoring visit. <br /> Monitoring Reports <br /> After each monitoring visit, a report describing the condition of the mitigation site shall be <br /> prepared.These reports shall be submitted to the City of Everett.These reports will assess both <br /> achievement of yearly goals and progress towards achievement of the project goals.
