Please review ; the enclosed report. Previously, you signed the Backwater Valve Authorization Fortn authorizing the City to install a backwater valve at your property. Based on the inspection report, we are proceeding with the installation.The Citv's conhactor. Archer Construction,will be aontacting vou in March to schedule the work.This will requim some excavation on your property. The City will provide you on-site training on the operation and maintenance of the backwater valve. Maintenance of the valve and the plumbing, sewer, and drainage on your property are your responsibility. The inspection identified additional site dreinage and plumbing deficiencies in your private drainage and plumbing system. These include: • Cleanout located outside the house is buried in the yard and needs to be rafsed to the surface These deficiencies are your responsibility to address, as you desire.The Cily is not responsi6le far future sewer or storm damages that may result from improper maintenance of, or deficiencies within, your private plumbing and drainage system.
