Their findings <br /> indicate that installing a backwater valve on your property would be beneficial. Please review <br /> tlie enclosed report. <br /> Previously, you signed the 8ackwater Valve Authorization Form authorizing the City to instail a <br /> backwater valve at your property. Based on the inspection report, Sve are proceeding with the <br /> installation. The City�contractor. Archer Con ruction. will be oontactingyou in <br /> March to schedule the work. This will require some excavation on your properry. <br /> The City will provide you on-site treining on the operation and mzintenance of the backwater <br /> valve. Maintenance of the valve and the plumbing, sewer, and drainage on your property are <br /> your responsibility. The inspection identified additional site drainage and plumbing deficiencies <br /> in your private dreinage and plumbing system. These include: <br /> • The side sewer has a belly in the line and should be relined or replaced <br /> • The potential future addition to the south of the house may need a back�vatcr valve <br /> installed at the time that a side seK�er is connected to prevent surcharges <br /> These deficiencies are your responsibility to address; as you desire. <br /> If you have any questions about this process, please contact me at 425-257-8947 or <br /> amoenC�everettwa.gov.
