City of Everett 01 1100 - 1 <br /> ' 2022 Biosolids Removal and Disposal UT 3752-30 <br /> SECTION 01 1100 - SUMMARY OF WORK <br /> 1.1 WORK COVERED BY THIS CONTRACT <br /> A. Water Pollution Control Facility (WPCF) <br /> 111 1. The City of Everett owns a Water Pollution Control Facility (WPCF) located <br /> near Everett, WA. The City is seeking a Contractor to dredge, dewater, and <br /> dispose submerged solids within the operation ponds at the WPCF. <br /> Approximately 2,000 dry tons of biosolids will be removed from the <br /> Oxidation Pond at this facility. <br /> ' 2. The Water Pollution Control Facility is located at 4027 4th Street Southeast, <br /> Everett, WA. The solids removed from the Oxidation Pond at the WPCF can <br /> be temporarily stored on the adjacent City's Biosolids Pad prior to final <br /> ' transport to a disposal facility. The Contractor must conduct their <br /> operations and manage the dewatered biosolids on the City's Biosolids Pad. <br /> See site map in Appendix A. <br /> ' 3. The successful bidder shall be solely responsible for providing all <br /> equipment, labor, tools and supplies necessary to successfully dredge, <br /> dewater, temporarily store, and haul the biosolids to a disposal facility in <br /> ' accordance with the terms of this Contract. <br /> B. The successful bidder shall keep accurate records of all transactions connected <br /> ' to this Contract and provide them to the City's representative. This shall include <br /> but not be limited to correspondence, invoices, transaction tickets, or receipts <br /> issued to the Contractor. <br /> 1.2 JOB DESCRIPTION <br /> A. The following is a general outline and is not intended to be a complete listing of <br /> the work to be accomplished nor is it intended to be used to indicate the order <br /> tthe work is to be completed. The items listed below represent a general list of <br /> items included in the work and should be verified prior to bidding. The Work <br /> includes but is not limited to the supply and installation of all materials, equipment, <br /> and labor necessary to perform the Work in full. <br /> B. Base Bid includes the following items: <br /> 1. Mobilization to WPCF. <br /> r2. Decontamination of Equipment at WPCF Biosolids Pad. <br /> 3. City approval of Decontamination efforts. <br /> 4. Make temporary connections to utilities. <br /> 111 01 1100 - 1 SUMMARY OF WORK <br />
