Remove 007300 Special Conditions as this section does not exist.
ANSWERS TO QUESTIONS SUBMITTTED FOR CLARIFICATION
Q1 - Are the residuals to be removed considered Class "B" Biosolids suitable for
land application?— No. See Appendix D for City Biosolids sampling
results taken October 5th, 2021.
Q2 - Please confirm that the sub-contractors list requested in the specifications '
refer only to the trades listed?— Correct.
Q3 - Would the City allow electronic submittals of the proposal? — Electronic '
submittals are not allowed at this time. Bids must either be dropped off
or mailed to the address provided in Section 00 1113. Any bids not
received by 2 pm on January 25th will not be eligible. '
Q4 - Can the dewatered Biosolids be stored and stockpiled on site until all can be
land applied? Is there a maximum time the residuals can remail on site?— City
sampling indicates that Biosolids do not meet Class B standards and so
cannot be land applied.
