April 6, 2022 <br /> Motion carried. <br /> Comments and liaison reports were provided by Council Members Vogeli, Tuohy, <br /> Rhyne, Schwab, Zarlingo, Fosse, and President Stonecipher. <br /> President Stonecipher stated that there was discussion during the Budget <br /> Committee meeting regarding a potential ballot measure to ask voters to help <br /> bridge the gap in the general fund budget.The City Finance team will be providing <br /> further information, analysis, and a recommendation for a property tax levy lid <br /> lift. In order for a lift to be in effect for the 2023 budget, council would need to <br /> take action by the end of June to take the ballot measure to voters in November <br /> of this year. <br /> President Stonecipher also addressed the role of the at-large council positions. <br /> She stated that at-large positions represent all neighborhoods, and any resident <br /> should feel free to reach out to the at-large council members on any matter of <br /> concern. <br /> ADMINISTRATION <br /> There were no updates from Administration. <br /> CITY ATTORNEY <br /> City Attorney David Hall had no updates. <br /> PUBLIC COMMENT <br /> Deb Williams stated Council received nine (9) written comments, and there were <br /> four (4) members of the public who wished to speak. <br /> • Eldon Luo—Traffic Safety Camera Program <br /> • Demi Chatters—Joint Statement on Traffic Safety Camera Program, NAACP <br /> • Brock Howell—Traffic Safety Camera Program <br /> • Joe Kunzler—City Council Procedures <br /> 2 <br />
