This <br /> position will focus primarily on financial system application development for custom systems,such as Praxis and the Employee Budget <br /> System. The cost of this position is partially offset by a reduction in the Finance department's professional services budget of$15,000. <br /> Department Code Rev Exp FB <br /> GGA-6 Animal Services Add Animal Care&Customer Service Assistant 026A 72,750 <br /> GGA-6 General Fund Add Animal Care&Customer Service Assistant 002A 72,750 <br /> This amendment proposes to increases the Animal Services budget by$72,750 for the addition of an Animal Care&Customer Service <br /> Assistant position. The position will be funded in 2022 by a transfer in from the Fund for Animals,which is partially funded by an <br /> ASPCA grant. This additional position will enable the veterinary team to significantly increase the number of spay/neuters and other <br /> surgeries and procedures for partner animal welfare organizations and low-income households. <br /> Please see NGA-1 for additional information. <br /> Department Code Rev Exp FB <br /> GGA-7 Police FY21 STOP grant 031A 32,170 <br /> GGA-7 General Fund FY21 STOP grant 002A 32,170 <br /> The Police Department has been awarded$32,170 in grant funds from the Washington State STOP Formula Grant program. The <br /> agreement with the State Department of Commerce provides funding to improve criminal justice and community response to violence <br /> against women in Snohomish County. The grant funds will be used to advance county-wide law enforcement training. The 25%in- <br /> kind match will be covered by the existing labor budget. <br /> Council approved this grant at the November 13,2021,Council meeting <br /> Department Code Rev Exp FB <br /> GGA-8 Police WA State Criminal Justice Training Commission grant 031A 60,000 <br /> GGA-8 General Fund WA State Criminal Justice Training Commission grant 002A 60,000 <br /> The Police Department has been awarded a$60,000 grant from the Washington State Criminal Justice Training Commission for <br /> recruitment,training,and applicant testing fees for underrepresented communities and populations.
