2022 <br /> Budget Adjustments <br /> Tally Sheet <br /> Department Code Rev Exp FB <br /> GGA-9 Police WA St.Parks&Recreation Commission grant 031A 15,478 <br /> GGA-9 General Fund WA St.Parks&Recreation Commission grant 002A 15,478 <br /> The Police Department has been awarded a Boating Safety grant in the amount of$15,478 from the Washington State Parks and <br /> Recreation Commission. Funds will be used for patrols,classes,and special emphasis enforcement. The goals of the activities are to <br /> reduce injury from boating incidents and promote a safe and enjoyable boating environment for all users. <br /> Council approved application and acceptance of this grant at the December 15,2021,Council meeting. <br /> Department Code Rev Exp FB <br /> GGA-10 Fire Emergency Management Performance grants 032A 82,277 <br /> GGA-10 General Fund Emergency Management Performance grants 002A 82,277 <br /> The Fire department has been awarded two Emergency Management Performance(EMP)grants totaling$82,277. The matching <br /> requirement for each grant will be provided by the existing labor budget of the Emergency Management staff. Funds are allocated to <br /> local jurisdictions to support their local emergency management operating budget in an effort to enhance their programs. Council <br /> approved acceptance of these grants at the January 19,2022,Council meeting. <br /> Department Code Rev Exp FB <br /> GGA-11 Fire IAFF contract-additional budget 032A 365,000 <br /> GGA-11 General Fund IAFF contract-additional budget 009A (365,000) <br /> This amendment increases the Fire Department's labor budget by$365,000 to address the additional funding needed to pay for the <br /> 2022 IAFF contract settlement. The collective bargaining agreement with Everett Firefighters,Local No.46,was approved at the <br /> December 22,2021,Council meeting. <br /> Department Rev Exp FB <br /> GGA-12 Facilities Transfer Maintenance Tech.position from Parks 038A 86,021 <br /> GGA-12 Parks Transfer Maintenance Tech.position to Facilities 101A (86,021) <br /> This amendment proposes to transfer one Maintenance Technician position from the Parks Department to the Facilities Department. <br /> This is part of an ongoing reorganization between the departments. <br /> ATTACHMENT A <br /> Tally for BA#1 <br />
