I
b. Work Area I
i. Lower portion of site — in and around Evergreen Pump Station, and
the area to the South between the pump station and Reservoir 3
access road.
ii. Note: Tight working area along north side of building.
c. Access
i. Highway Place gate, at northern boundary of site uphill from pump
station.
• Preferred access point
• City can typically provide padlock access to this gate
• This gate will also be primary site access for Reservoir 3
contractor (see below).
ii. City, AWWD, PUD, and Cell Tower owner must be able to access
assets around the site 24/7.
d. Constraints
i. Work must be accomplished so that no unplanned interruptions of
service to Evergreen Pump Station, AWWD Pump Stations 1 & 2,
PUD substation, and Reservoir 3 occur.
ii. Planned shutdowns of Evergreen Pump Station must be carefully
coordinated with City staff prior to each shutdown. Shutdowns will
be limited in duration as follows: I
• Shutdowns that occur in the City's low-demand season
(Before mid-April or after mid-September) may be allowed
for durations up to 8 hours maximum based on current
conditions.
• Shorter shutdowns up to a maximum of 4 hours or less can
be accommodated during the high-demand season (between I
mid-April and mid-September) Shutdowns during this period
are not preferred.
iii. Electrical service work requires planning and coordination with the
PUD.
iv. The Reservoir 3 drain pipe is being re-routed as part of this project.
This pipe must be available to the City by August 31, 2022. 1
e. Work Hours
i. The work site is available from 6am to 5:30pm, M-F, except for
City-observed holidays, unless approved by PM.
ii. The City's noise ordinance restricts construction noise between
10pm and 7am.
iii. Contractors are encouraged to limit noise and light pollution where
possible to limit impacts to businesses and housing to the north of
the site.
I
I
