• <br /> CITY OF EVERETT - ORDINANCE NO. 3742 <br /> AN ORDINANCE granting to the Great Northern Railway Company, its <br /> successors or assigns , the right, privilege and authority to <br /> locate, lay down, construct, maintain and operate for a period <br /> of twenty-five (25) years from and after this ordinance be- <br /> comes effective, two sets of parallel railroad spur tracks <br /> over and across Nassau Street and Everett Avenue within the <br /> City of Everett, to a connection with the track of the Great <br /> Northern Railway Company. <br /> THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF EVERETT DO ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS: <br /> Section 1. That there is hereby granted to the Great Northern <br /> Railway Company, its successors or assigns , for a period of twenty- <br /> five (25) years from and after the date this ordinance becomes <br /> effective, a right of way for and the right, privilege and authority <br /> to lay down, construct, maintain and operate two sets of parallel <br /> railroad spur tracks in, along, over and across Nassau Street and <br /> Everett Avenue in the City of Everett, described as follows : <br /> All those parts of Nassau Street and Everett Avenue <br /> in the City of Everett, Snohomish County, Washington, <br /> lying within 8. 5 feet, as measured at right angles <br /> from the following described center line of spur <br /> track: <br /> Commencing at survey station 1867+59. 7 being a <br /> "headblock" in a track 15 feet westerly from the main <br /> track of the Great Northern Railway Company and approxi- <br /> mately 10 feet northerly from its intersection with the <br /> north boundary of California Street in the said City of <br /> Everett; thence northerly along a No. 9 turnout curve <br /> to the left 70 feet; thence tangent 20 feet; thence <br /> along a 12 degree, 30 minute curve to the left 115. 3 <br /> feet to the end of curve; thence northerly and tangent <br /> 34. 3 feet to a "headblock" of a spur track hereinafter <br /> described; thence continuing northerly on an extension <br /> of said tangent 80. 9 feet to a beginning of curve; thence <br /> northerly along a 9 degree, 30 minute curve to the left <br /> 150. 5 feet to the end of curve; thence northerly and <br /> tangent 14. 2 feet to an intersection with the south <br /> line of that portion of Nassau Street vacated Ordinance <br /> No. 3681. <br /> ALSO, all those parts of said Nassau Street and Everett <br /> Avenue lying within 8. 5 feet as measured at right angles <br /> from the following described center line of spur track: <br /> 1 <br />
