I <br /> A. The city shall acquire, construct and install a com- <br /> plete aerobic type sewage stabilization pond on that portion of <br /> Section 16, Township 29 North, Range 5 E. W. M. lying east of the <br /> Snohomish River and all in Snohomish County, Washington, consisting <br /> of a 136-acre primary cell, a 27-acre polishing cell, earthen dikes, <br /> reinforced concrete control structures, flow meters and recorders, <br /> piping and drainage, a reinforced concrete and concrete block <br /> laboratory complete with plumbing, ventilating and heating facilities <br /> and equipped with all necessary laboratory equipment, miscellaneous <br /> tools and supplies. The city shall construct access roads to such <br /> area, and shall enclose the same with protective fencing, and <br /> install adequate warning signs. <br /> B. The city shall acquire, construct and install the <br /> following described interceptors and transmission lines for the <br /> purpose of intercepting the existing major outfall sewers and trans- <br /> mission of the collected sewage to the above-described treatment <br /> facility: <br /> (1) A twenty-four (24) and a thirty-nine (39) inch <br /> diameter pipes extending from the stabilization ponds westerly <br /> under the Snohomish River to a reinforced concrete diversion <br /> and control structure to be located at the intersection of <br /> East Grand Avenue and the northern projection of Summit <br /> Avenue. <br /> (2) A forty-two (42) inch diameter pipe in and along <br /> East Grand Avenue from the diversion and control structure <br /> to Seventeenth Street; thence westerly in and along <br /> Seventeenth Street as a twenty-four (24) inch diameter pipe <br /> to Chestnut Street; thence continuing southerly in and <br /> along Chestnut Street to Eighteenth Street; thence contin- <br /> uing westerly in and along Eighteenth Street to Cedar <br /> -2- <br />
