• (g) Any building failing to have automatic or other fire alarm apparatus, or extinguishing equipment, sufficient to protect life and property from fire; (h) Any building having inadequate facilities for egress in case of fire or panic and having in- sufficient stairways, elevators, fire escapes or other means of communication. The following standards shall be followed in substance by the Fire Marshal in ordering repairs, corrections, vacation or demolition: (a) If the dangerous building or condition can reason- ably be repaired or corrected so that it no longer exists in violation of the terms of this ordinance, it shall so be ordered repaired or corrected. Otherwise it shall be ordered demolished. (b) If the dangerous building or condition is in such condition as to make it dangerous to health, morals, safety or general welfare of its occupants, it shall be ordered vacated. Section 3: That Section 1.06 of the Suggested Fire Prevention Code recommended by the National Board of Fire Under- ' writers, 1956 Edition, is amended to read as follows : Section 1.06. Fire Marshal Order -- Appeal -- Appeal Board.
