Fire Marshal, City of Everettt (b) The service of Fire Marshal Orders, as herein pro- vided, for the correction of violations of this code or the Fire Prevention Code of the City of Everett, or the correction of dangerous or hazardous conditions, as herein defined, shall be made upon the owner, or the occupant or tenant or other person responsible for such conditions, or the contract purchaser, or any person whose interest in such property appears of record on the real property index and records and files of the Snohomish County Auditor, or such other person interested in such property or responsible for such conditions, by delivering a copy of such Order to such named individual, or by leaving it with a person of suitable age and discretion at the usual place of abode of such person being served. In event that such person cannot be served person- ally in the City of Everett, then such Fire Marshal Order may be served by delivering to and leaving with any person in charge of the premises a copy of such order, and by mailing a copy of such order in an envelope with postage prepaid, addressed to the last known post office address of such individual.
