a. <br /> • <br /> ORDINANCE NO. 3670 <br /> AN ORDINANCE amending Ordinance No. 3572 of the City <br /> of Everett entitled: <br /> An Ordinance regulating and restricting the location <br /> and use of buildings and land within the City of <br /> Everett; limiting the heighth of buildings; prescribing <br /> building lines and size of yard and other open spaces; <br /> providing for the division of the city into use zones; <br /> creating a Board of Adjustment; and providing for <br /> penalties for violation of the ordinance. <br /> providing for the amendment of Section 4 covering the zone map <br /> of the City of Everett; and amending Section 5 thereof by adding <br /> an additional subsection C 11 providing for trailer parks; and <br /> amending Section 6 thereof by adding an additional subsection <br /> B 9 providing for churches as a permitted use. <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY OF EVERETT DOES ORDAIN: <br /> Section 1: That the City Council of the City of <br /> Everett does hereby find that the changes hereinafter set forth <br /> are for the best interests of the City and in harmony with the <br /> comprehensive plan of land use for the City. <br /> Section 2: That the zone map of the City of Everett, <br /> also designated as "use map" of the City of Everett, as establish- <br /> ed by Section 4 of Ordinance No. 3572 as above outlined, is <br /> hereby amended as follows : <br /> (1) Lots 1 through 32 inclusive, Block 6, Climax <br /> Land Company' s First Addition, be and it is <br /> hereby rezoned from R-2, single family high <br /> density residence zone, to R-4, multiple family <br /> high density residence zone. <br /> (2) The west half of Block 2, College Hill Addition <br /> to the City of Everett be and it is hereby re- <br /> zoned from R-1, single family low density <br /> residence zone, to R-2, single family high density <br /> residence zone. <br /> Section 3: That Section 5 of Ordinance No. 3572 be, <br /> and it is hereby amended to read as follows : <br /> Section 5. GENERAL PROVISIONS <br /> A. LAND USE: <br /> No building, structure or premises shall hereafter <br /> be used or occupied and no building or part thereof or <br /> structure shall be erected, raised, movel reconstructed, <br /> extended, enlarged, or altered, except in conformity with <br /> the regulations herein specified for the zone in which <br /> it is located. <br /> No lot, yard, off-streeting parking or loading area or <br /> other open space existing on or after the effective date <br /> of this Ordinance shall be reduced in area or dimension <br /> below the minimum required by this Ordinance, nor shall <br /> any existing lot, yard, off-street parking or loading <br /> area less than the minimum required by this Ordinance be <br /> further reduced, nor shall any required open spaces be <br /> used as the required lot area, yard, off-street parking <br /> or loading area for another structure or building. <br />
